Raw reference. Distilled into ../experiences/04-book/brief.md.
On frame 4, how does it arise out of the dark? Does it drop in or fade up as if lit by a lamp? It falls in from the top, so it drops in heavily. Is it already open, or is it closed? When it falls, it falls open, as in the photograph we have.
What do the pages hold? I would love it if it's almost like illuminated golden text, but each one is a course, a white paper, or a podcast. I think it's actually just a white paper or a course: white paper and course. There are only about 3 or 6, I think, of them.
I think we're going to have to look quite carefully at how to actually write them onto the book for it to work. Otherwise, it's going to look quite fake. Can I say? I think the better solution is that there are those golden words on it that light up, and then they fly up and say, "Horse white papers or reading." Is it an individual white paper or an individual course? I think we're talking about the flight of flight.
It doesn't describe a particular course. It just says "courses." It's like illuminated gold lettering. The point is, rather than trying to write onto this book image, which will be extremely difficult and will look quite fake, it's almost like there is some gold lettering that emerges and then assembles above in the black space above the book. That then looks correct and looks kind of magical.
We don't even need to turn the pages because you originally wanted the pages to be turned. No page turning anymore. It can be a little bit like it falls, and maybe it falls down again, so the letters assemble into courses and then they fall back down onto the book. I don't understand. No, they stay up.
How do you get different things? Is it just courses and white papers coming up, or how do you get different things, or just all of it assembles out of the book? I imagine you have a closed book that does go. Open, heavily open. Once the book is open, you see these golden letters starting to appear on the pages. They start to float out of the book and reveal themselves. It says "courses," or we'll need to figure out what it says, but probably "courses" and "white papers." Just to check, you just said the book fell open, but you're now saying it falls closed and then opens itself. Oh, so it falls closed and then opens itself. That would be really cool, but if we can't do that, it just falls open.
We thought of keeping things popping up after the pages. We could have the other idea of scenes actually arising out of the lead, which could even be more beautiful. We've got this idea more of the golden lettering, but I think we could have the pop-ups as a background. We have maybe "Will appear after this" below the book. I think it would be sharing what we have learned on our journey over the past decade, and that would probably be below the book in writing. That would maybe appear. I think the first focus wants to be just on the book and its beauty and its appearance.
Typed note
No, point. I'm not sure we actually need to use the key for the photograph for a variety of reasons, but I think we could reproduce it. It's a real inspiration. I think we could reproduce it quite well in a design system, in design, if we did ever want to animate it or anything like that. For example, the opening of the book. I think it's the kind of thing that we could get quite well designed in motion graphics. Just to make that comment, we don't have to exactly reproduce it.
