Feeling
People, in terms of feeling for the Arrival, we want them to feel a sense of awe, excitement, beauty, like, "Wow, this is cool." A bit of acknowledgement of the darkness, or not? It's so good that it creates a little envy, like, "Oh, it's so good, beauty, depth." That's more in the copy, but also in the thing: it should be quite dynamic.
In the beginning, what we just drafted is a cool, good font, this little animation of the seed. It would almost be like, "Okay, then you read the text, which is maybe a bit more calm, and then suddenly the text would appear." You're now describing the functionality. What's the feeling? The functionality creates the feeling. Yes, no, I get that. Yes, just let me keep flowing. Keep flowing. It should have a certain rhythm to it, which kind of engages people, but it shouldn't be too fast or slow. It should play with tension, for example, between dark and light, between slow and a little ding, like death and rebirth.
Yeah, but you're getting too obsessed with death and rebirth. Yes, it's always in the background anyway, but it is also playing with how people absorb information. When it's kind of shiny and new, you read things, but then there are moments where you slow down, and it's like in music: if you have a beat that constantly goes in the same rhythm, you don't listen to it.
Is this scroll just so I'm understanding? You're imagining this is just one screen with animation, or does the entire experience, as people move down, have different aspects, feelings, and possibly, at a moment, different texture? Also, it's like what we said: the whole thing is constantly changing, alive, and moving. Right, okay, brilliant. I love it. Something of the unknowable. Yes, we're recording, and that's something about the feeling and even vision, more about the Arrival thing. Let's just get that down. That's about the kind of feeling and even some design vision of what it is.
Beat 2: dark text becoming light
What we currently have is quite good. We'll need to tidy up. For example, the next experience, the next slide through the Arrival, is that text, but it should be suddenly dark, with the text being dark and gradually becoming light. First, you almost struggle to read it. It should be off-dark grey. Little by little, I would love it if, before people can really realise that it's happening, it's becoming gradually white very slowly, so that they can fully read the text. This is on the black background.
This is the second beat or slide, if you like, or instance: they have these words that are emerging, and then we'll give the text for that. It starts dark. Great. When you said what we already have, I can put a screenshot or send the material for that. That was the first text with these kinds of seeds floating around. That answers that point.
Answers to first questions
I now want to come to feedback on what was suggested about Arrival for the seed, because what you're saying is, "For all the living beings whose heart burns to see a new world emerge," the opening line is correct. We actually have a design for that.
The words "that become trees" is a separate slide or beat that you're not sure about. You're not even sure you want it anymore. The explaining quote that you want, you know what that quote is, right? Yes, and that's fine. We'll give you the explaining quote.
The seed symbol: we can use the existing SoR logo or seed mark, which has these seeds in it. I think you can find that. I thought that's in the other parallel directory about the Seeds of Renaissance website. If not, we can find you that logo mark very easily.
I think, darker white, you're right. I think that it's dark in general. I think 0.5 is a bit moot because we're not using the words "as trees" for now, but we would have dark for at least the second slide. I think the first slide is white. When I say slide, I mean kind of almost a page, or we're scrolling down the website here or whatever it is.
Do you want any sound? Not for now. Yeah, we definitely want sound, so we want ambient sound like winds or birds or music. We'll come back to that, but I think we will want sound, but we don't know what it is. Right now, 7 is not correct because we're going to keep going on this page.
Typed notes
Page 1 / Slide 1 / Beat 1: For all the living beings whose heart burns to see a new world emerge. i will give you the screenshot or animation we already ahve so not much to do here.
Page 2: Human history has always been a story of transformation - of old worlds dying and new ones being born. Every great crisis carries within it the seed of rebirth. We are a movement called to bring forth a civilizational renaissance grounded in wisdom, interbeing, Inner growth , Revoligion (the evolution of religion), complexity and going beyond capitalism. [this is the text that is black and then becomes white]
the below that on page 2 (in larger font): We are a vision and movement for civilizational renewal
finally note: these may be an animmation but more likely a scrollable website experience … (but we are open)
Round 2: answers and the flow beyond beat 2
Typed answers:
- yes that is the quote …
- we'll answer below
- we don't need color yet - don't worry
- maybe - we'll answer below

Dictated (transcription errors likely, e.g. "Hagens Kiefer" = Anselm Kiefer?):
There should be six seeds at the beginning: Seeds of Revelation. You should almost see them going to those. It should be six, and then we'll see about that.
There is the thing: the seeds. You scroll down, and it's dark. The text goes from almost invisible, but we only see where we are in white, in vision. The dark text above it then appears. I do think that the sixth thing could come out in colour: the six words, "Wisdom into Being Integrated Religion." I think "Revolution" by the way should become "Eveligion Revolution," which has this tone to it, but anyway, "Complexity and Beyond Capitalism."
Then there are things I'm not super sure about, because here I'm like, "Oh, they could be like, 'Download the manifesto. Oh, see the manifesto, for example. People might want to discover more.'" The logical thing, I wouldn't want if I focus on experience and not call to action and stuff. It's like, then you go, and that's when there's this big book that arrives. It's like those Hagens Kiefer books, giant, this size. It says, "Share our heart learning that we've from our past day, from our journey over the past decades." Something like that.
There's this big book, and it's like a handsome, big Hagens Kiefer book, and a big, handsome Kiefer heart that comes and glows. Each page, I'd love the flickering of turning the pages. The page where they're heavy pages is hard. They're a bit heavy, and that's where the courses and other things, possibly the podcast, or I don't know. I see almost the white papers and the courses in that, or it's after that. I don't know if that goes there or if it's like, "We are a vision and a movement," and then you see the people that walk into this, into the thing, into becoming a movement, and then here is the meetup. We integrate other experiences that we've described at this moment. At this moment, we transition.
Yes, there would be a call to action at the end of almost page 2, which is, "If you want to read our full manifesto, you can go read it, or continue," or kind of an invitation to keep discovering. What's the first invitation? I think, for people coming here, it's like, "How can I join the movement?" The next one is "Movement," and then probably the thing below that is "Courses and Papers." If you want to know more before you already know you could join a movement, but then you might want to know more before you do.
We actually see how some of these experiences are joined together. They could exist also independently, in that the movement experience could exist on the movement page or join-in page, but we're using it also on this landing page. Folding in, that makes sense now how some of these experiences join together. What we're just saying was that experiences, movement, leap, and courses book now show up, probably on this flowing-through experience here. That's helpful. Anything else? No, we're good.
